Jim Morgan
Bio Jim Morgan CRIS, CWCA
A Kansas City, Missouri native, Jim made his home in Overland Park, Kansas with his wife of seven years and their soon to be three children.
Attending Johnson County Committee College from 1994 to 1997 he studied business and technology.
In 1994, Jim joined the Marine Corps and spent time as both active and reserve. He was Honorably Discharged in 2002 after returning from state side duty during Operation Enduring Freedom.
Jim began his professional career with Anderson Consulting in1996 as a technical liaison for Sprint PCS. Moving deeper into technology, Jim served as Business Development Manager for the St. Louis based firm GA Sullivan.
Jim began his insurance career with Lockton Companies in 2002. Today, Jim is a Commercial Insurance agent with Charlton Manley, one of the oldest insurance firms in Kansas. He works in their Overland Park Office and his primary focus is in the construction industry.
While serving on the CLRB Insurance AD-HOC committee he worked with Bob Ford regarding Insurance Industry Requirements. Since his experience with CLRB, Jim has continued to strive to understand the construction industry with his recent CRIS (Construction Risk Insurance Specialist) designation from the IRMI (International Risk Management Institute). He is also certified in OHSA 10 hour.
