MATT HISSONG

Matt has been a lumber salesman and consultant for Sun Lumber Company in Kansas City since 2004. Prior to his career in sales, Matt worked in the framing industry in the Kansas City marketplace for more than 15 years. For ten of those years, Matt owned and operated Construction Systems, Inc., through which he was responsible for framing of hundreds of new homes. Matt loves the building business and strives to translate his knowledge and experience into helping his customers build better and more profitable homes. Matt is an enthusiastic presenter, well known for his expertise in the field of building products, who has taught seminars for the Johnson County Licensing Program. Matt participated in the 2008-2009 Project H.E.R.O. program, the remodeling project done to create a fully accessible living environment for a Kansas serviceman disabled in the line of duty. Matt, a former Class “C” contractor, serves his community on the Board, as the representative of the General Public.
