
MICHAEL JANSEN
Mike Jansen is the Executive Vice President of Faith Technologies, Inc. and President of the SKC Electric Division of Faith Technologies.
After graduating from Little Chute High School in Wisconsin in 1982, Mike attended the University Of Wisconsin River Falls where he majored in Electrical Engineering and Agriculture. His electrical career began with his 1984 employment with Town and Country Electric Inc. in Appleton, Wisconsin, along with attending his State Indentured Apprenticeship Program at the University Of Wisconsin Fox Valley.
In his 21 years of service Mike rose from being an Electrical Apprentice, Journeyman Electrician, Superintendent, Electrical Project Manager, Low Voltage/Systems/Structured Cabling Division Manger to Owner and Vice President of Operations for one of the largest electrical contractors in the Midwest. With his promotion to Executive Vice President and Owner of Faith Technologies, Inc. in 2001 Mike and his family relocated to the Lenexa, Kansas area. Since his arrival, SKCE has been awarded the Associated Builders and Contractors S.T.E.P Platinum award for four straight years, the OSHA Perfect Safety Award for 2003, and 2004, and numerous Project of Distinction and Lighting awards from ABC and the Electric League. He has added to the growth of the company by adding an industrial division, implementing a work smart program, and providing a Lead by Example philosophy.
Mike consistently stays abreast of industry standards and codes by taking continuous education classes. He holds Electrical Contractor Licenses in the State of Wisconsin; State of Oklahoma; State of Texas; State of Ohio, and Johnson County, Kansas; along with miscellaneous city licenses in Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa. Along with being a Board Member of ABC, Mike belongs to TEC International, and a peer group consisting of eight electrical contractors across the Midwest and Western regions
Mike enjoys spending time with his wife and children and stays very active in their school events and sports. His favorite pastimes include fishing, hunting and golf.
