GINA CLINE
Gina Cline is the Coordinator of Education and Training for The Builders Association & Associated General Contractors (AGC) - Kansas City Chapter since. Gina graduated in 1994 from Central Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science-Management Technology. Since that time she has worked for several Kansas City area construction companies and has held positions as an assistant project manager and safety director. In her current position, Gina utilizes her construction management background and skills to develop and implement a variety of construction education courses, management academies, workshops, and events for association members. She also takes an active role in promoting the construction industry as a viable career and education option by making presentations to K- 12 classrooms, colleges, universities, as well as at Education and Vocational Association Conferences.
Since 1996, Gina has been a member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Greater Kansas City Chapter and is a past president of the chapter. She is active in planning and participating in the chapter’s educational programs and promoting construction as a non-traditional career option for young women. In April of 2003, she was honored as the recipient of the NAWIC Region 6 Outstanding Woman in Construction Award.
Other affiliations include: Job Corp Industry Advisory Council; Mid-West Concrete Industry Board; Cement Masons Joint Apprenticeship Committee; AGC Vocational Education Accreditation Team; AGC Young Constructors Forum; Blue Valley and Shawnee Mission School District Trade and Industry Advisory Committees; National Association of Parliamentarians; Missouri Association for Career and Technical Education; Volunteer for Habitat for Humanity and Christmas in October.
